I have seen some other solutions out there, but none of them were complete, functional, and covered so many conditionals as this one I am presenting here. Some years ago it was possible to use the Thunderlink plugin to obtain a “link” to a specific email, and when you clicked that link it would open Thunderbird with a focus on the required email. However, that project died. Fortunately, Camiel Bouchier made the necessary re-writing of the code need to make it work with newer versions of Thunderbird’s API, in what it’s called cb_thunderlink....

I have been having some issues with Fedora 38 Workstation: it freezes and sometimes even does not start at all. These problems started after I setup the Emacs Daemon to auto start as a systemd service. To do that, I followed the instructions in section “31.6 Using Emacs as a Server” of the Emacs Manual....

The posts I receive in my RSS reader from regular people who write stuffs in their personal blog can be organized in one of three categories: (i) technical guides on how to do something, (ii) anger after a negative experience, and (iii) a log of our problems and pain....
I have been using a Bullet Journal from a year now to capture notes and organize my tasks in general. Even though I am not a chaotic person it has helped me a lot, because I no longer found myself (at least not that much as before) thinking all the time about what I have to do tomorrow or next week....
Just starting the University (2014), in the first semester we had a “Computing” course. It was probably the second or third harder class of the semester after Math, with lots of people having really bad grades (even to repeat the class more than once), and keep in mind it was about how to format and write documents and presentations....
I come from a socialist island on the Caribbean Sea where the government doesn’t take (formal) taxes on the citizens. Of course that there are taxes, and probably among the highest in the world (maybe around 85% of everyone’s income), but because we don’t pay them, nobody feels like someone is taking that from them....
